He spent four years in postgraduate school and received his Diploma in Orthodontics. This was followed by a research program which lead to a Master Science degree. A year later, he was awarded his Canadian D.D.S.

After his studies, Dr. Delia was a full time teacher at the University of Toronto for three years and a part time teacher for another two years. He also was associated with the orthodontic program at the Hygiene department at Niagara College. He has lectured at various dental study clubs. He has vast experience in orthodontics.

Dr. Delia belongs to the Rotary Club of St. Catharines. Over the years, he has been active in the arts and in equestrian sports.
